When it comes to Social Media, you may have a team to handle it. Or, you may have one person that handles it, or you may be multi-tasking and doing it yourself on top of the rest of the things you need to do. Either way, you’ve probably noticed the value of scheduling your social media posts.
This would ensure you social media accounts stay active, without you necessarily having to go on and post every day or every couple days, etc. Instead, you can just make a plan and spend one day getting your account ready for the week – or even the month if you’re feeling ambitious.
Scheduling posts on Facebook is easy. Every business or brand page automatically has the option to either post immediately, or schedule it for up to 6 months in the future. Linkedin, on the other hand, does not have this option.
So what’s the solution?
Thankfully, there are quite a number of free tools that allow you to schedule posts on Linkedin. Here are a few of the free tools for social media management that you can use. Each has their own pros and cons, but you can always experiment with a few of these to see which works best for you.
This is probably the first tool that comes to mind regarding social media management. While there are several packages available ranging from $19 per month to $599 per month, there is also a free option!
Hootsuite free provides:

This is a fairly premium social media management tool, starting at $59 per month. However, all plans do come with a 30-day free trial. Who knows? You just might want to sign on for good?
Again, buffer comes with a number of social media management packages which let you manage up to 150 social media accounts – that’s probably a bit more relevant for an agency! There is also a free plan which includes:
– Access for one user
– Link up to 3 social media accounts

– Supports Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, G+, Instagram
Similar to SproutSocial, this is a paid tool with a 7-day free trial. However, the lowest package starts at just $9 per month, or $8 per month if you pay annually.
